this is the second show i recorded, so the settings were still to be played
with. if anyone cares to clean it up (reduce gain, lower crowd noise, etc.)
please do. i hope you all enjoy it. i did. the setlist was not as good as
the first night, but i think the location for this one gives a little
better recording.

If converted to lossy please label as such!! so people know what they have. I hate getting crapy Mp3 thingking they are lossless.
The details:
Mic mounted on my shoulders ( I am tall) under my fleece. I usually wear a sweater or a thin polar fleece.
This gives good stereo sound , acts as a wind screen and is very stealth. My error this time I grabbed the wrong fleece, the one with windstop layer! I did not realise this until after the show. This extra layer caused the mic not to get a clean crisp sound. After some time..I managed to "fix" the recording and almost as good as my 16th tape.
( I think this one would have been better if I grabbed the sweater.) I do not like to over edit my shows and the better the original raw recording the better the total sound. I made many samples with different EQ levels and Har-bal setting until I was happy and applied on the entire raW wav.
Used cool edit to EQ down the distorted bass and upped the hi end a tat. Then used Har Bal and compaired the analsus of my track(17TH) to the same track I did on the 16th and made adjustments. Then used cool edit pro light his filter very very light setting, then the parabolic
EQ filter to adjust any rumble and add some mid tones and adjust a little trebble. Went back to EAC to normalize entire WAV to 90% track splitting edit out a few claps and saved the final WAV.> ran through Traders little helper to FIX ANY SBE > Flac Frontend Level 8.

Much easier to get it wright the first time.

Note: Whith my headphones on I can hear a few pop noises here and thier. I was not sure what was causing this until I heard simulair sound on some of the other tapers recordings of these shows.
After carefully listened I figured it out. People are stepping on the plastic cups on the floor.
