Notes from taper:
I am uploading this as a gift to all the tapers who go through a lot of BS to get a decent tape of a show. Those of you who have never attempted to record a show have no clue all of the factors that have to fall in place in order for a show to get successfully recorded. I have been taping shows for close to 10 years and this show had by far the worst weather conditions I have ever encountered while using microphones.
This recording (while not up to the standards of most on this tour) is very enjoyable given the almost impossible taping conditions.
I don't want to hear any complaints about sound quality because it is what it is...

The sky opened up and the rain starting pouring heavily towards the end of Mysterious Ways and continued throughout the remainder of the show. I have NEVER continued recording under such inhospitable conditions. The heavy rain caused three instances of millisecond microphone "shorts" which were repaired without the loss of any music by O-Canis. I am amazed that that was the only casualty during the torrential rains.
To the band's credit they carried on during the heavy downpour and put on a great show. I would have packed up my recording gear and called it a night if it hadn't been U2 on stage. I'm glad that I continued the recording!
