Taper- MD
Position- about 100 - 150 ft from stage dead centre, facing Bono.
Rig- SP-PASM-2 (0 gain and knob set to 10 o'clock) -> NJB3 -> USB -> PC -> Cool edit Pro -> Amplitude and fades -> CD wav editor- FLAC level 8.
Title- "Sing for your Sanity Glasgow!"
A terriffic show, appreciated by the band and audience. This was my first time with this rig so it was taking a real chance. The only problem I had was that it was recorded a bit too quietly.
The wav file as a whole was boosted by 26.67 db with a -2 db peak, any more may have ruined the sound. There is a random frequency analysis from Trk 18 included. If you do not like your audio boosted, please dont waste your time downloading it. Nothing else was done to the files apart from the fades and the splits.
** Point of note. There was a sound failure during Walk on. This develops during MLK and then the sound drops out for 1 minute during Walk on. This was nothing to do with me, the whole stadium sound just disappeared!
The singing was fantastic and the crowd were pretty decent (it can get a bit hairy when everyone has too much alcohol, blonde girl please take note!!)

Comments:
My 3rd U2 gig of the 360 tour and my 2nd recording. Our seats were relatively close to the stage although to the left and behind the stage. Little or no atmosphere at our bit but at least people stood up. This recording is firmly in the 'OK but nothing brilliant' category. Would have been better but for two women sitting not far behind me who had the most irritating voices but eveny-tually shut up. I have nothing against people singing and shouting etc. as this is a rock n roll show but inane chatter for no reason really annoys me at gigs. If you can tune them out then well done.
The recording sounds a little distant as the sound was nowhere as good as i experienced on both Wembley dates. The sound did appear to be better in other parts of the stadium. I don't know if this will help a matrix recording or not but thought I'd put it out there anyway. I'll stick up some samples and you can decide if you want it or not. I haven't heard the other recordings so i can't comment on how they compare.
It also contains the infamous sound drop out during walk on and accompanying booing. A rather surreal moment. The sound never fully recovered after that and it wasn't great to start with.
I also plan to seed this on dime so would appreciate no one else taking it over there.

The band just carried on completely oblivious to the fact that no one could here them. Kinda a funny moment seeing them playing away and not hearing a thing.
Had to cover the mic briefly during Elevation due to security walking past but didnt effect the much.
Sounds a tad tinny so feel free to remaster away to your hearts content if you so desire.

I have remastered this bootleg, because the recording was not too bad. I worked two month on it. I know, it's
not perfect. If you find clipping or other mistakes, you have to remove it by yourself. I don't know how to remove that.
But I think it's an really improvement to the original recording.
